She Let Her Faith Calm Her in Eye of The Storm: Peace and $1.2M Would Come Later

It is quite easy to fill pity for oneself when things are not going well, or when experiencing a sudden and unexpected downturn in finances, life or relationships.

It takes strength, fortitude, support and sometimes, Faith, to help overcome hardships in life.

I am no stranger to diffucult times myself but have tried to remain optimistic and not let the hurt and pain of rejection, strife and tough moments tear me down and ruin my resolve.

I got emotional and felt quite connected to the story of my friend Nicole Commissiong, a veteran US government Emergency Managment general contractor who recently opened up about being so broke that she couldn’t afford to heat her home.

But she remained steadfast and optimistic and committed to her belief that her Maker would see her through the tough times.

Her Belief set calmed her anxiety and nerves and surely, things worked themselves out. Her and her husband’s hard work in their company paid off and they were awarded a contract and brough in $1.2M in revenue within 11 days of the toughest times of her life.
